Am I the only one who wakes up sick and tired of the world we live in? Corruption surrounds us and violence reigns. Kids with kids, kids with guns, kids with no aspirations to be more than what they already are: Nothing. The system is failing us just as must as we are failing ourselves. Wars take place, 'a fight for democracy!' they say. 'A fight for money and power!' more like. Yet we are the ones to blame because we are the ones doing the fighting. You do not see politians on the front line and you never will. They just give the order and we jump asking how high! Imagine what would happen if each individual stood up, put their weapons down and simply decided not to fight? Well if each individual did that, we would have a mutiny for peace on our hands. Ha! doesn't the solution seem so simple?
Our society barely resembles a democratic leadership and we sit back, sigh over it, mutter a few words about how the world has gone mad and get on with our daily lives. Should we be content with that? What gives us the right to moan about the state of the world when we do nothing to change it? If everyone just stopped for one minute and took a look at the bigger picture they would see that nothing has to be as complicated as it is made out to be. Look past your immediate surroundings, past the continental borders and different cultures. Look to the stars and see the vast universe stretch into infinity and contemplate on the opportunities it can bring. You never know what you will discover.
The state of the world today makes me mad. The people in this world make me mad because most of us are ignorant and lack fundamentals in common sense! Politicians aside, gangs are useless too. What is the appeal to join a gang? Is it the urge to belong? That's why people join churches(and that gang is just as corrupt as any other) And why do you need to belong anyway? Do you not feel secure enough to stand on your own two feet? To be an individual in one's own right? Or is it because you couldn't say no? You were bullied into joining? Well stand up to bullies and show them you can make your own decisions, that you can control the fate of your own life just fine without some dimwitted thug telling you what's cool and what's not.That's how you get respect. Gang members go about taking lives of others, always wondering when their turn is going to come. They live in fear and repression...Does that sound cool to you? The one reason I cannot argue is easy money. people get involved in crime because it's easy money (Or fast money, I wouldn't exactly call it easy!)but in the grand scheme of things, fast money is not satisfying. You need to work hard for something in order to appreciate it, you may not realise it now, which is fine, but do not leave it too late either.
Now, one more thing and then I'm done. Just think about something for me, just for a second...
Whether you believe in God or not (I don't) isn't it curious that if we all abided by the ten commandements there would be no grief or chaos in the world. Ten simple rules. So why on earth doesn't the thousands of invented laws work?
